The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chandigarh Zonal Office, conducted search operations on July 4, 2025, at the premises of three suspected shell companies—Kindent Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Rainet Technology Pvt. Ltd., and Mool Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd.—located in Noida and Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, under the PMLA, 2002. The companies, operated by dummy directors and posing as IT firms, were found to be fronts for laundering proceeds of crime generated through the multi-crore QFX/YFX online forex and MLM scam that defrauded thousands of investors across India. The ED froze 116 bank accounts, securing over Rs 103 crore of proceeds of crime. The main masterminds—Navab alias Luvish Chaudhary, Rajender Sood, Vineet Kumar, and Santosh Kumar—had absconded to Dubai. Earlier searches in February 2025 had frozen accounts linked to QFX, YorkerFX, and botbro, securing Rs 187 crore.

Investigation ongoing as of July 2025; numerous digital devices, financial documents, and electronic records seized and under forensic examination. The ED has frozen a total of approximately Rs 391 crore in proceeds of crime across multiple phases of the investigation. The four main masterminds remain absconded in Dubai.

Whether the three suspected shell companies were legitimately operating as IT firms or were knowingly used as fronts to launder proceeds from the QFX/YFX forex and MLM pyramid scheme; the extent of the masterminds' involvement and the full trail of illicit funds through complex layering networks.

The case exposed the vulnerability of investors to sophisticated online forex and MLM scams, highlighting the misuse of shell companies and dummy directors to launder money. It underscored the ED's intensified crackdown on financial fraud networks across multiple states. The investigation is likely to uncover additional shell companies, benami assets, and facilitators, reinforcing the need for stricter regulatory oversight of fintech and payment solution providers.
