In the gleaming halls of Mitsubachi International Academy, a fortress of elite education in the binational city of Shin-Kyo, the student body is drilled in the merciless rituals of power and submission. For scholarship student Mina, plucked from the impoverished plains of Sarelia, the campus is meant to be her escape. Instead, she discovers it is a living laboratory where human trafficking networks are rehearsed and refined—a perfect scale model of the adult world’s bloodiest commerce. When she and other migrant girls are branded as commodities for a shadowy Japanese-Korean conglomerate, Mina launches a covert war of psychological sabotage, transforming the academy’s rules of hierarchy into the very weapon that will bring the entire chain down.
