Yanling's Gray Souls

London-based Chinese history student Kai stumbles onto a dark web livestream of a ritual murder. As he digs deeper, he discovers the assassination was orchestrated by a global network of killers calling themselves the "Xi Clan," who model their code of arrogance and sacrifice on the ancient Spring and Autumn case of Xi Zhi presenting Chu captives. Branded a witness, Kai is hunted through the lawless digital underworld. Trapped in a gray zone where law enforcement cannot reach and forgotten victims become ghosts in the machine, he must use his knowledge of that ancient betrayal to survive a modern trial of blood and hubris.
