Lens of Deceit

In the fictional city of Vanguard Harbor, a draconian ordinance banning the filming of police within twenty-five feet ignites civil unrest. When a serial killer begins executing citizen journalists who violate this law, disgraced homicide detective Vincent Cross sees a chance for redemption. He volunteers for a reverse sting, transforming himself into a reckless, camera-wielding provocateur to lure the killer out. But as he engages in a dark intellectual and emotional chess match with the brilliant and tormented former war photographer he is hunting, Vincent discovers he is not just falling for his target—he is staring into a mirror of his own buried sins. The truth he unearths will prove deadlier than any murder weapon.
