In the near-future United Republic of Columbia, second-generation mafia heir Dominic Valenti tries to transform his father’s criminal empire into a legitimate algorithmic-security firm, Aegis Analytics. But his plan triggers a brutal double bind: old-guard capos see him as a heretic, while the Federal Security Service (FSS) seeks to trap him with the very predictive technology he built. When an FSS no-knock raid goes catastrophically wrong, killing an innocent, a thirty-year-old murder buried in training data surfaces—revealing that what men call retribution is nothing more than a logical contradiction finally resolving itself across time.
