Murder by the Book

In Halcyon City, Aurelia, Detective Elara Hayes investigates a macabre series of murders, each staged to replicate a scene from classic literature. As the body count rises, the ritualistic killings lead back to the controversial police shooting of Elias Voss, a man in the midst of a mental health crisis. Elara, who perjured herself to protect her partner and secure her own survival, finds herself the unwilling protagonist in a narrative designed by a killer known only as The Scribe. Forced to confront the crime she buried, she discovers that in the raw struggle to survive, every shred of moral superiority becomes a grotesque joke.
