The Termite King's Shadow

In the sun-scorched suburbs of 1950s California, a failed exterminator murders a wealthy pest control magnate and assumes his identity. As he navigates the victim's crumbling empire, parasitic family, and the relentless scrutiny of a claims investigator, the line between performance and possession blurs. What begins as a desperate grasp for fortune becomes a haunting metamorphosis, revealing that the most destructive infestations are the ones that hollow a man out from within, leaving only the carapace of a stranger.
