The Retake

In the shadow of the prestigious National Aptitude and Merit Examination, a state-of-the-art Bluetooth cheating ring is exposed, ensnaring the children of the elite. DCI Aron Falk of the Nordic Investigation Bureau uncovers that the digital heist is not a scheme for profit, but an elaborate act of vengeance. Two decades after a brutal boarding school bullying incident was buried, the former victim has meticulously orchestrated a role reversal, transforming the bullies' own heirs into fraudsters. As Falk dissects the case, he realizes the cheating scandal is merely the visible tumor of a society riddled with privilege, corruption, and unhealed trauma. This is a biopsy of a generation, where the scalpel cuts into the wounds of the past to reveal the festering injustices of the present.
