In the aftermath of the historic truce of 546 BC, two Chu soldiers who were forced to wear hidden armor during the peace conference become fugitives carrying a secret that could shatter the fragile peace. Pursued across the wilderness by assassins from Chu, Jin, and Song, their journey becomes a road odyssey of paranoia and betrayal, where the poison of an era transition festers and erupts in bloodshed.
