A destitute data archivist, Elias Crowe, murders and replaces tech magnate Victor Aldridge using a web of biometric forgeries and predictive behavioral algorithms. In a near-future Valdoria, his flawless impersonation erodes when he is entangled as a key witness in a police brutality lawsuit, forcing him to confront that precision can replicate a man, but never justify taking his life.
