Stolen Curse of Ying

In the decadent Chu court, the young scholar Weijia witnesses how brute force and arrogance crush all legal paths to justice. Foreseeing that the ruthless general Ziyu will destroy the state, Weijia secretly exhumes a forbidden Shang-dynasty curse manual from a desecrated royal tomb. He performs a stolen blood rite to rewrite fate itself, but when Ziyu falls at Chengpu, Weijia discovers that the archaic sorcery he arrogantly appropriated is far more real—and hungry—than any rational mind can bear.
