The Silent Protest

Inspired by the Spring and Autumn case of Xu Chen recommending Xi Que, a gifted painter named Ke is born into a disgraced family in the Jin state. After his talent is discovered, he is commissioned to copy ancient masterworks in the ducal court. Ke uncovers a conspiracy where counterfeit paintings are used to rewrite history and frame loyal ministers. To expose the truth, he creates a perfect forgery and stages his own death, leaving behind a silent crime scene. His stillness becomes the most profound protest against a corrupt world.
