Hunted by Consent

In the gilded republic of Aldoria, a clandestine club of industrialists and judges revives an old colonial charter that permits "consensual hunting" of indebted citizens. Ex-special forces operative Marcus Vane, framed for a crime he didn't commit, is offered a choice: a decade in prison or one night as "game" on the estate of Lord Headley. As Marcus navigates a maze of legal loopholes, surveillance drones, and aristocratic sadism, he discovers that the charter's morality shifts with each generation—and that the hunters have forgotten that prey can also bite back.
