Fires of Justice

When American tourist Sam Hawthorne vanishes in the insular European mountain village of Verdok, his partner Alex Hawthorne discovers a sinister cover-up. The local insurance giant, Lutetia Mutual, has buried a fatal landslide caused by their negligence. Alex follows legal paths to find Sam, only to be met with corrupt bureaucracy, silent locals, and a profound injustice. As hope fades, the thirst for justice transforms into a feverish need for revenge, culminating in a tragic and irreversible act of arson that reveals the monster within.
