The Greed Appendage

When small-time fixer Leo Driscoll witnesses a police killing in the fictional city of Ashenford, he becomes the sole obstacle in a multi-million dollar wrongful death settlement. His ex-wife, a corrupt lawyer, and a pill-mill psychiatrist conspire to have him committed to Blackthorn Psychiatric Hospital. There, amid electroshock and chemical restraints, Leo must convince a single, weary state-appointed doctor that he is sane, while the co-conspirators steadily close in to bury the truth forever.
